About
Autonomous non-profit organization in the field of arts development "Festival Plus" was founded in 2017
The main goal of our large-scale project is to create a number of annual cultural events aimed at strengthening and developing communication between representatives of different cultures through the art of cinema. "Festival Plus" provides a unique opportunity for filmmakers from all over the world to present their works, while the audience can get acquainted with new trends in modern cinema. We pay special attention to young Russian directors, students and graduates of specialized educational institutions, as well as talented young people who are passionate about cinema.
"Festival Plus" practically does not impose restrictions on genres, themes and countries of film production, except for those that contradict the legislation of the Russian Federation and moral and ethical principles.
For many years, Festival Plus has been organizing and holding a number of film festivals annually in various regions of Russia. Since its foundation, the following activities have been successfully implemented and continue to be successfully carried out::
Sochi Film Festival is our first and by far the most popular international film festival, which has been held annually in Sochi since 2017.
"White Nights Film Festival" - the second project, which every year becomes more prestigious and in demand among cinematographers from all over the world, traditionally held in St. Petersburg in 2017.
Bridges International Film Festival is another international festival in St. Petersburg, which, although it is a young one, has already gained recognition in the international arena. The first season started in 2022.
"Maikop International Film Festival" - adds variety to our list of events, taking place in picturesque Maikop in the south of the country. This festival was founded in 2017.
"Feodosia Film Festival" - became the legitimate successor of the "Feodosia International Film Festival", founded in 2017. In light of the changes in the international situation and the imposed sanctions, the organizers rebranded the festival from 2024, and the festival became completely Russian, while remaining open to participants from friendly countries.
The Votkinsk Festival of Children's and Youth Cinema "VTK Start Fest" received a new name and format in 2025. Previously, it was the Votkinsk International Film Festival, the first season of which was held in 2018. By all indicators, this festival has become the most visited and favorite among the residents of Votkinsk: more than 1,500 spectators, 80% of whom are young people, attend film screenings annually, which is more than 1.5% of the city's population.
The AQUARIUS Festival of Russian Short Films is the youngest project of the Festival Plus, which is an important platform for young Russian directors. The first season was held in the fall of 2023 in the capital of our homeland, Moscow. Young directors and audiences have already fallen in love with the festival.
The All-Russian Film Festival of Patriotic Youth Cinema "ZOV" is a new and interesting project in the format of a festival-marathon. The pilot festival was held in 2023 in Votkinsk, demonstrating excellent results both in terms of attendance and the quality of films presented. The festival is planned to be held in 5-7 regions of Russia annually.
All of our projects are gradually building up their potential and taking their rightful place among the world's most prestigious film festivals; many of them are included in the list of IMDb-accredited ones. Festival Plus plans to open new locations both in Russia and abroad.
Not everything is so smooth on our way. In 2022, we were forced to close one of our projects – the Nadym International Film Festival, which has been held since 2017. However, we are full of hope that this festival, like the Phoenix bird, will one day be revived.
Festival Plus is actively developing not only in the framework of its projects, but also in an extensive network of representative offices throughout the country. The head office is registered in the capital of the Republic of Adygea, Maikop, and in 2022 branches were opened in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
We are always open to new and interesting projects. Our team has repeatedly supported and participated in organizing exhibitions and tournaments, as well as producing films. Moreover, Festival Plus actively supports charitable foundations and promotes the cultural life of the country, raising the prestige of Russia in the international arena.
We are waiting for your creative products and look forward to inviting you to our festivals! If you have any questions about cooperation, please contact the specified contacts.
